Welcome to Flyover Country with Scott Jennings. If you‘ve followed my commentary on tv or newspapers, you know I‘m a conservative — but sometimes I like to zig when everyone else is going to zag. You‘re going to hear podcast versions of my columns. You‘re going to hear me talk at length about some of the stuff we do on TV. You‘re also going to hear me talk to guests and other panels to have insightful conversations about the news. Most of the time though, you‘re just going to hear me giving you the news and giving you my commentary. I‘ll always tell you the truth, and I‘ll always be happy to engage with our listeners. Enjoy Flyover Country with Scott Jennings

ROUNDTABLE: Racist Cartoonists and Cameron Launches Public Safety Plan
Thursday Jul 13, 2023
Thursday Jul 13, 2023
Our podcast is no fan of political cartoonist Joel Pett, but it seems this week he crossed a major line. Appearing at a comedy club, an anonymous source let our show know Pett decided to attack GOP Gubernatorial nominee Daniel Cameron with racist jokes. No stranger to racism, Pett was also fired on the same day - with his newspaper currently remaining quiet. Meanwhile, the Kentucky governors race is heats up - and in some interesting ways. Earlier this week, Cameron rolled out his comprehensive public safety plan. It focuses on gang violence, drug enforcement, recruitment and retention of officers and much more. All while in Louisville, a failing school system gives its superintendent a 27 PERCENT pay raise, and Joe Biden scares his staff! Join us for all that more on Flyover Country.

ROUNDTABLE: Hoosier Lawyer? Pam Stevenson.
Thursday Jul 06, 2023
Thursday Jul 06, 2023
You would think the Kentucky Democrat Party would have nominated someone for Attorney General who has actually practiced law in Kentucky. Well, you would be wrong. This week we learned Pamela Stevenson, Demcrat nominee for AG, is not a licensed lawyer in Kentucky - meaning she has tried ZERO cases! And while that wild news hit Kentucky, the SCOTUS dropped some big decisions around college admissions and student debt, Hunter Biden had another banner week and Joey Chestnut remains the GOAT. Tune in for all that and more on Flyover Country!

ROUNDTABLE: Welcome to Bidenomics 101
Thursday Jun 29, 2023
Thursday Jun 29, 2023
Surprise - President Biden has some new phrases, and some new math, that he has made up! Welcome to Bidenomics! The numbers are made up, nothing is real and it all makes Joe Biden look good? YUP. This week the President began to embrace the once insult, trying his best to convince Americans the economy is actually performing well. Polling however suggests the opposite, with Democrats even losing trust in Biden's ability to handle the economy. Meanwhile, across the country Pride parades draw criticism and here in Kentucky, a judge holds up legislation to ban sex changes for minors. Lots to talk about - join us!
