After going to the brink of a government shutdown, just days later Matt Gaetz led a rebellion against Speaker McCarthy leaving the House of Representatives Speaker-less, void of the ability to govern. 8 Republicans joined every Democrat to remove McCarthy, and things are in disarray. Even Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell referred to the situation as a "Hammerlock of Dysfunction." So what happens now? On Wednesday night in California, 7 Republican candidates took the debate stage in what became an unwatchable 2 hours full of bickering and interrupting. Aside from a couple good zingers from Nikki Haley - few real ideas were debated, but plenty of folks spoke over each other. On this week's Flyover Country, Scott and the team breakdown the debate, and what the RNC might need to change going forward to fix things. And as always, we dive into some news from the Kentucky Governor race as Beshear releases another controversial ad - with some misleading (read: false) information. ROUNDTABLE: Cameron and Beshear (Sort of) Face Off in Chamber Forum

With less than 50 days until election day, Attorney General Daniel Cameron and Governor Andy Beshear faced off in the same venue for the first time since Fancy Farm as they both took part in the state chamber's forum on Wednesday night. With a focus on economic development, Cameron and Beshear offered two differing paths forward for Kentucky, talking jobs, taxes, crime and much more. Over the next month and a half the two will face off a few more times ahead of election day. Outside of Kentucky, Congress is still a mess, Trump's abortion answer is a mess and VP Harris is still saying crazy things while a local reporter in South Carolina grabs the sound bite of the year! Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of Hunter Biden's actions. After skirting the law for years now, it seems Hunter Biden will finally face the music for his crimes. Now the question becomes, 'To what degree was Joe Biden involved?' With all this smoke, the House GOP are now formally investigating President Biden with some intent to impeach. Meanwhile, Speaker McCarthy works to balance the ambitions of his caucus - which is all over the place on debt, funding and more.
