You‘re going to hear podcast versions of my columns. You‘re going to hear me talk at length about some of the stuff we do on TV. You‘re also going to hear me talk to guests and other panels to have insightful conversations about the news. The political world was rocked Wednesday afternoon as longtime Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell announced he would be leaving his leadership position at the end of the year - ending a record breaking tenure for the Senator. A rock of the Senate for many decades, the stepping down of McConnell will create a massive power vacuum, as the GOP struggles with new winds within its party. On today's Flyover Country; Scott, Joe and Courtney reflect on the many years of leadership from McConnell, and though he has 2 years left (at least) in DC, discuss the things that will be changing.
